The two 25-point tricks, "Grand Illusion" and "Order from Chaos", are the hardest to perform. Try to complete these as soon as possible during the Challenge.
"Merlin's Hat" is the easiest Trick to perform, since you may use any mixture of PROPS Cards. Many Magicians will save this until last, but it's also good to perform it when you just don't have the right PROPS to perform any other Trick.
First, focus on completing the two 25-point Tricks. If you
must perform one of the single-prop Tricks, consider
holding onto the cards needed for the 25-point Tricks.
Once you've completed the 25-point Tricks, then never
hold back any playable PROPS or Wild PROPS. Always get the most points possible for each Trick.
You may play up to 6 PROPS Cards when Performing a Trick. If you only have 4 cards that earn points for a Trick, then you can dump 2 more PROPS cards as part of the 6-card Trick. You won't get any points for cards that don't match the Trick, but it's the best way to get worthless cards out of your hand. See the Scoring Example in the Rule Book.

Absolutely! The TRICKS cards offer colorful feedback on which Tricks you've performed, making it easy for you and you opponents to see your accomplishments. However, if you want to play in a location that has limited table space, such as on a plane or in the backseat of a car, you can set aside the TRICKS cards and just use the Score Sheet to keep track of which Tricks are Complete.
When the PROPS Card Draw Pile is empty, reshuffle the PROPS Card Discard Pile to refresh the Draw Pile. Leave the top 3-6 PROPS Cards face-up in the Discard Pile, in case a magician wishes to play the "Prestidigitation" SNEAKY Card which allows them to draw 3 cards from the Discard Pile.
We like to play the Variation where you don't need to perform the trick that corresponds to your Magician's Wild Power. So, Wanda Wands doesn't need to perform the Wand Trick, and Randy Rabbit doesn't need to perform the Rabbit Trick. Before you start playing, just put X's on the Score Card to show the Tricks that each player won't need to perform. Each player should then flip over that TRICK Card to show it's COMPLETED.
